Elton Coleman attended North Georgia College in Daholnega, Georgia where he received his B.S. degree in physics and mathematics.  Elton has 36 years of experience in the automotive industry.  Following college, he worked for the Ford Motor Company for 16 years in Atlanta, Detroit, St. Louis, St. Thomas and Ontario, Canada.  Following his tenure at Ford, Elton worked at Nissan Motor Manufacturing Corporation in Smyrna, Tenn.  for 11 years.  He has most recently retired as Executive Vice President and Chief Operation Officer for Calsonic Kansei North America, Inc. after nine years of service.

 

Elton is a member of the Executive Board of the Middle Tennessee Council, Boy Scouts of America where he was recently awarded the Distinguished Eagle Service Award.  He also is a member of the Leadership Rutherford Alumni Association.  Elton has also served as a past Board member of the Rutherford County Boys and Girls Club, the Rutherford County United Way, and Past President of the Marshall County United Givers Association.
